Regular Meeting
The Finance Committee is a three member sub-committee of the Ledyard Town Council. The role of the Town Council’s sub-committees is to review, investigate and vet matters pertaining to the operation, administration and business of the Town; and to forward their findings/recommendations to the Town Council for action. The Finance Committee addresses items pertaining the town's finances such as: the Annual Town Budget, bond authorizations, debt service, grant applications, leases, purchasing, fee schedules, budget appropriations and transfers, Ordinances and Resolutions, along with other items as assigned by the Town Council Chairman. The Finance Committee meets twice a month at 5:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month in theAnnex Meeting Room, Town Hall Annex. These meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
