MOTION to authorize the Finance Director to revise the tracking of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding in account #21010103-54500-G0014 (Historic District - Building Maintenance- ARPA) to transfer $55,575.17 from the Sawmill Projects to the Nathan Lester House Projects to facilitate the Nathan Lester House Exterior Rehabilitation work (Bid #2024-03).

Background:
$165,000 of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding has been designated for the preservation of the Ledyard’s Historic Structures that was approved at the Annual Budget Referendum held on May 17, 2022.
• $125,000 was earmarked for the Up-Down Sawmill (current unencumbered balance of $88,760) with projects in-progress.
• $40,000 was earmarked for the Nathan Lester House (current unencumbered balance of $27,451) with projects in progress
The ARPA Funding for the Historic District Commission Projects reside in one account with Munis. That account is #21010103-54500-G0014 (Historic District - Building Maintenance- ARPA). The breakout of the funds as noted above is being tracked on the ARPA Projects Spreadsheet.
Bid #2024-03 (Nathan Lester House Exterior Rehabilitation) resulted in a low bid of $83,026.17. Therefore, the Historic District Commission has requested the tracking of the Historic District Commission’s ARPA Funding be revised to transfer $55,575.17 from the Sawmill Projects to the Nathan Lester House Projects.
