Background:

Mr. Mackin has High school Diploma from Norwich Free Academy 2014.

He is currently employed at Today Construction

Mr. Mackin is an experienced construction professional, with over a decade of experience in residential and commercial construction he understands how zoning decisions impact both community character and future development

Mr. Mackin is interested in serving on the Planning and Zoning Committee to contribute his practical knowledge of building, land use, and development to support the town's growth.

He is interested in bringing a youthful, forward-thinking perspective to help ensure that Ledyard continues to grow responsibly while preserving the integrity and quality of life that make our town special. (Please see attached Application).

Administrative Notes:

Alternate Member Mr. Woody was moved from an Alternate Member to a Regular Member on the Planning & Zoning Commission, which left a opening for an Alternate Member (Please see attached Roster)

In accordance with Chapter IV; Section 8 of the Town Charter "Except as otherwise provided for in this Charter, the Town Council may appoint members to fill vacancies in other offices, boards, and commissions established by this Charter and by ordinance as vacancies may occur, and appointing members to such offices, boards, and commissions as may be created in the future. Such appointments shall be made by the Town Council for such terms and upon such conditions as provided in the respective ordinance".
