MOTION to grant a Bid Waiver (Project 072-PI-35) to Robert Green Associates, LLC of Terryville, Connecticut, in the amount of $10,800 for the installation of a new Septic System at 70 Christy Hill Road, Gales Ferry, in accordance with the Housing Rehabilitation Low Interest Loan Program; and Ordinance #200-001 “Purchasing Ordinance for the Town of Ledyard, due not receiving the required three bids.

Background:
The Housing Rehabilitation Low Interest Loan Program provided loans to qualifying homeowners for critical home repairs such as the replacement of septic systems, new roofs, boilers, windows, etc.
When the load was paid back to the Town the funding becomes available to be loaned to another qualifying homeowner.
This program was administered for the Town by A & E Services Group, LLC, 609 West Johnson Avenue, Suite 408; Cheshire CT.
In seeking bids to replace the septic system at 70 Christy Hill Road, Gales Ferry, only one bid was received, therefore, to comply with Ordinance #200-001 “Purchasing Ordinance for the Town of Ledyard, a bid waiver has been requested.
