Background:
While onboarding, Jessa familiarized herself with the library’s policies. She found a number of inconsistencies regarding ages and circulation loan periods.
Department Comment/Recommendation:
The attached policies would align the ages to the State’s law for unattended children, which is 12 years old. Jessa would also like to propose eliminating the Internet Permission Form and replacing it with a more comprehensive Internet Use Policy. Please see the attached documents to review the updates, and the Director’s Report for a more comprehensive explanation.
