Background:
Mr. Schneider has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Master of Science in Industrial Engineering; and is currently employed as the Public Works Director in the Town of Groton. (see application & resume')

Mr. Schneider has been an active member of the community. He is currently serving as a member of the Permanent Municipal Building Committee and was its former Chairman.

Mr. Schneider believes that small government like Ledyard needed to find subject matter experts within the citizens to support special projects such as the Development of a Process for Capital Improvement Budding Projects".

Administrative Notes:

The "Ad Hoc Committee to Develop a Process for Capital Improvement Building Projects for the Town of Ledyard" was a short-term six-month assignment. This Committee called for 7 Members, with six members being appointed at the Town Council's April 22, 2026 meeting.

The seventh position was calling for a member from the Community-at-Large with Construction Management Experience.

Since the Town Council's April 22, 2026 meeting the following two Appointment Applications have been received
