Background:
480R Shewville Road is the former location of the Ledyard water system well field.
The use of the well filed was terminated with the connection to Groton Utilities public water system and the property has been vacant and out of use since approximately 2017.

Mayor Comment/Recommendation:
This is part of an ongoing effort to sell surplus town-owned properties which allows us to recapture some funds, reduces our insurable interests and removes a vacancy that vandals may target. I support the need for an appraisal.
