Background:
In accordance with policies established for the Tax Collection Department, refunds to taxpayer exceeding $2,400 are to be approved by the Town Council. All three refunds are due to an extra payment having been received.

Discussion: Councilor Saums stated in accordance with Policies established for the Tax Collection Department, refunds to taxpayers exceeding $2,400 needed to be approved by the Town Council. He stated for all three refunds that there was a double payment made. He stated the Mayor was authorized to sign tax refunds under $2,400.
