Andra has served in Ledyard’s town government since 2013 when she was asked to join the Social Services Board. In 2015, she was elected to the Board of Education, and in 2017 appointed to fill a vacancy on the Town Council. Since then she has been elected to the Council for three consecutive terms. As an elected Councilor she chairs the Administration Committee and serves on the Finance Committee. Andra earned a Bachelor of Science in family studies from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Public Administration from Regent University. Currently, she works in the faith-based nonprofit sector. She has more than 25 years of experience working with children and families and is a 16+ year homeschool veteran. Downtime is spent reading, gardening, hiking Ledyard’s trails, and watching home improvement shows. Andra and her husband Scott have been married since 1992. They have four grown children, one daughter-in-law, and are thrilled to welcome their first grandbaby in Spring 2022.
