Mrs. McGrattan is a Registered Nurse and has a background In Faith Community Nursing. She has been an active member in her community, serving as the Mayor of Ledyard for two terms, serving in the State Legislature for 5 terms, and serving on the Town Council for seven terms. She is an advocate for public health, the elderly and the community’s youth, having served on the Safe Teens Coalition. She is serving as a liaison to the Commission for Senior Citizens, the Social Services Board, Housing Authority, Conservation Commission and the Nursing Board. She is a certified Medicare Counselor.
