CALL TO ORDER  
The Meeting was called to order by Committee Chairman Pamela Ball at 5:30 p.m.  
Chairman Ball welcomed all to the Video Conference Meeting; and she noted that the  
remote meeting information for the Farmers Market Committee and members of the  
Public to participate in tonight’s meeting was available on the Agenda that was posted  
on the Town’s Website - Granicus-Legistar Meeting Portal.

RESIDENTS & PROPERTY OWNERS COMMENTS  
None.  
PRESENTATIONS / INFORMATIONAL ITEMS  
Eagle Scout Michael attending remotely via Zoom, proposed an Eagle Scout project  
to help the Farmers Market by making improvements to the Storage Shed which  
would include installing new shelving, rodent proofing, repainting, portable power  
supply and trash can covers. Ms. Ball would work with Michael to coordinate time  
and to provide Michael access to the Storage Shed.

MEMBER COMMENTS  
Mr. Foltz suggested the Farmers Market Committee discuss extending the dates of  
the Market for the 2026 Season. The Committee agreed to defer this discussion to a  
meeting when all members of the Committee were present.  
The Farmers Market Committee expressed a Huge Thank You to the Town and to the  
Parks & Recreation Commission for their support during the year.  
Ms. Ball noted that the Farmers Market Website would be updated to thank everyone  
for a Great 2025 Season. She also noted that the newsletter would be sent and that  
posts would be created on their Social Media site.

Purchase Orders Report - September 23, 2025  
Treasurer Mr. Thorne reviewed the Financial Reports noting the Total Munis Balance  
was in the amount of $31,175.33.  
The Committee discussed looking into creating a Venmo Account; which was an  
on-line App that would allow them to send and receive money, pay bills, etc.  
VII. MARKET MANAGER REPORT  
Market Manager/Chairman Ball suggested the Famers Market Committee  
look into getting a computer, printer, and ink for the volunteer members  
serving on the Farmers Market Committee would not be using their personal  
computers to conduct the business of the Farmers Market.

Website Management and Newsletter

Ms. Ball went on to explain that the Farmers Market Google drive was half  
full and that they would need to update it for more storage. She also  
commented on the Drop Box and 3x media.

MOTION to make a $400.000 donation to the Ledyard Rotary.  
Moved by Ms. Ball, seconded by Ms. Martic  
Discussion: Ms. Ball noted that the Rotary was scheduled for two Markets.  
However, she stated that they did three Markets, due to a Musician not being  
able to perform at the last minute, noting that the Rotary filled-in doing three  
performances for the season. She stated in-lieu of payment that the Farmers  
Market has been making a donation to the Ledyard Rotary.

for the Season. To recognize and thank Ms. Watkins the Farmers Market  
agreed to make a donation.

Discussion: Ms. Troy noted the significant amount of time that Lauren &  
Dune Rugh volunteered to help the Market this Season. To recognize and  
thank Lauren & Dune Rugh for their efforts the Farmers Market Committee  
would be making $100.00 donation to Guiding Eyes, noting that this was a  
non-profit Organization that Lauren & Dune Rugh supported.
