CALL TO ORDER  
the Meeting was called to order by Councilor Buhle at 5:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers  
Town Hall Annex Building.  
Councilor Buhle welcomed all to the Hybrid Meeting. She stated for the Town Council  
Administration Committee and members of the Public who were participating via video  
conference that the remote meeting information was available on the Agenda that was  
posted on the Town’s Website - Granicus-Legistar Meeting Portal.

MOTION to appoint Ms. Gillian Thorne ( R) 3 Adios Lane, Ledyard, to the Library

Commission to complete a two (2) year term ending November 7, 2027 filling a vacancy left  
by Ms. Candler.  
Moved by Councilor Brunelle, seconded by Councilor Dombrowski  
Discussion: Councilor Dombrowski noted Ms. Thorne’s credentials, and he stated  
that she was very qualified and a good fit for the Library Commission.  
VOTE: 3 - 0 Approved and so declared

Participation In The Sustainable CT Municipal Certification Program And Establishing A  
Sustainable CT Ad Hoc Committee:

Discussion: Councilor Buhle stated that she was happy to see the appointments to  
this Ad Hoc Committee noting that she looked forward to them getting started on the  
Sustainable CT Initiative. She stated that Ledyard was one of the few towns in  
Southeastern Connecticut that was not Sustainable CT Certified. She noted the  
Sustainable CT website provided the ability to filter categories such as “Reduce  
expenses and save money for the town”. She also noted that the town could choose  
goals that would make the town more affordable. She note that Resolution called for  
a representatives as noted above and that they would need one more member from the  
Community-at-Large.

Cove Road, Gales Ferry as a Regular Member, to Planning & Zoning Commission for a three  
(3) term ending October 31, 2028 filling a vacancy left by Mr. Craig.

Discussion: In an email dated October 7, 2025 Planning & Zoning Commission  
Chairman Marty Wood requested that Mr. Woody be moved from an Alternate  
Member to a Regular Member on the Commission, noting that Mr. Criag was not  
interested in continuing to serve on the Commission when his term expired later this  
month.  
VOTE: 3 - 0 Approved and so declared
