Public Comments.  
Ty Lamb, Historic District Commission Chairman spoke about the historical sites the  
Commission is planning. He asked for assistance from the LBC in planting this fall. The  
Committee will put out a call for volunteers and a member will serve on the Ad-hoc Committee  
put together by the Historic Commission.

Future Projects Discussion.  
School Mural - No updates at this time.  
Ledyard rock snake - Ms. Eastbourne spoke with librarian to collaborate on a special rock  
painting event for September 14. Rocks will be place in the garden at the Bill Library. The Girl  
Scouts will also help with the event.  
Breakfast fundraiser at Ledyard Congregational Church - Saturday July 6.  
Farmers Market - discussed who will attend.  
Veteran’s Day project - Kate Kohrs presented a plan for the Veteran’s Day project to include  
yard signs on display with local veterans’ photos and names. The plan includes collaborating  
with the Historical Commission if they are willing. Ms. Christiansen recommended presenting  
the project to the Rotary Club to request funding - Ms. Hewes is available to attend the Rotary  
meeting on Thursday August 1.  
Motion to PROCEED with planning the Veterans Day event and obtain quotes for signs.
