CALL TO ORDER  
The Community Relations Committee Organizational Meeting was called to order by Committee  
Chairman Brunelle at 6:15 p.m.  
Councilor Brunelle welcomed all to the Hybrid Meeting. She stated for the Town  
Council Community Relations Committee and members of the Public who were  
participating via video conference that the remote meeting information was available  
on the Agenda that was posted on the Town’s Website - Granicus-Insite Meeting  
Portal.

MOTION to set the Community Relations Committee’s Regular Meeting schedule for the  
2024 Calendar Year.

to be the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Annex Building as noted  
below:

Review the outstanding action items contained in the memo dated October 26, 2023 as  
forwarded by Community Relations Committee of the Twenty-sixth Town Council.

Councilor Paul explained that to provide for a seamless transition and for continuity the  
Town Council and its Subcommittees have traditionally identified and forwarded to the  
incoming Committee business items they believed warranted additional attention/action.  
Councilor Paul went on to state that because the previous Community Relations  
Committee agreed that the following items were important outstanding/ongoing  
matters, they were hopeful that this new Committee would also like to continue with  
the work that has been done on them:  
1. 2024 Black History Activity/Contest.  
2. Community Outreach Informational Forums at the Ledyard Farmers Market  
regarding the services the town offers; how to access services, and the  
authority residents should direct concerns regarding services.  
3. Host Informal Conversations in the Park” to engage residents in discussions  
regarding their concerns and their ideas for potential solutions.  
Councilor Paul stated that the Committee would discuss these items in more detail at  
their Regular Meeting that was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. this evening.

Councilor Paul moved the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilor St.  
Vil.
