The Town of Ledyard Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission, on Friday, April 24, 2026,  
at 5:00 pm, held a Site Walk at 84 Silas Deane Road / 58 & 59 Seabury Avenue, Ledyard CT for  
IWWC#26-6RESUB, and at 1947 Center Groton Road, Ledyard, CT for IWWC#26-7SITE. The  
Special Meeting / Site Walk began at 84 Silas Deane Rd / 58 & 59 Seabury Ave at 5:00pm and  
continued immediately following to 1947 Center Groton Road.  
Conversation at the site walk was strictly limited to location characteristics from the plans as  
they related to the field.

CALL TO ORDER  
Chairman DeBrodt called the Special Meeting/Site Walk to order at 5:00 pm. at the location  
of 84 Silas Deane Road, 58 & 59 Seabury Avenue, Ledyard, CT.

proposed 23-Lot Resubdivision, including the construction of a new public road, stormwater  
drainage system and installation of a dry hydrant (Submitted 3/26/26, Date of Receipt 4/7/26,  
DRD 6/10/26)

Site walk began at 5:00pm. Present for the application was, Agent Peter Gardner L.S,  
Applicant Steve Rice, and Attorney William Sweeney, Esq. Those present walked the site to  
observe the wetlands. There was no discussion of the application.

CT,-Applicant, EG Home LLC-Agent, William Sweeney, Esq.- Property Owners, 1947  
Center Groton Road LLC, for regulated activities associated with construction of a 72-unit  
multifamily development & associated site improvements. (Submitted 4/1/26, Date of receipt  
4/7/26, DRD 6/10/26)  
B.  
Site walk began at 5:38pm. Those present for the application were Attorney William  
Sweeney, Esq., Applicant John McBride, Land Acquisitions Manager EG Homes, Aron  
Shuwmacher, P.E. of BL Companies, and Sagan Simko of, Certified Soil Scientist, of BL  
Companies. Those present walked to all flagged wetlands as shown on the proposed site plan.  
There was no discussion of the application.

MOTION to adjourn made by Commissioner Pealer, seconded by Commissioner Ribe , to  
adjourn the special meeting/site walk at 5:54pm.
