quality modeling. The State will hold workshops and reach out to the public this summer.
- The Public Works Department is looking into storm water run-off at rain gardens.
- Commissioner Cohen has been asked to be part of the Avalonia Advisory Group which is
tasked with bringing access to open spaces to the under-served, amongst other things.

Kevin Blacker of 11 Church St., Noank, farms on land on Shewville Road in Ledyard.
Mr. Blacker talked about concerns regarding possible pollution of ground water and Mystic
watershed because of the proposed sewer expansion and bike trail project in Ledyard; economic
incentives to upstream towns to maintain healthy watershed; voice support for Cashman project
in Gales Ferry; and what he believes are leaking sewer pipes in Ledyard.
Chairman Marelli advised the Commission members to watch the December meeting video of
the Ledyard WPCA to get an understanding of proposed projects in Town.
