White-Hall Environmental Assessment

Some members of the Commission walked White-Hall property with Ms. Jones who is  
conducting the environmental assessment. They discussed history and details of the park,  
invasive species and the possibility of adding new trails. Chairman Marelli will obtain an  
estimated cost for a contractor to bushwhack the fields.  
Open Space Acquisition Plan

Motion to ACCEPT the 2022 Open Spaces Acquisition Plan with the understanding it can be  
updated as needed.

Collaborative meeting with certain Town Commissions  
The Agricultural Commission is hosting an informal meeting on October 18, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.  
at the Ledyard Town Hall Annex to discuss land use in the Town. Other  
Commissions/Committee/Boards invited to attend include Land Use, Inland Wetlands, Zoning,  
Planning and Economic Development.
