Comments of Commission Members.  
Mr. Martic attended the Historic District Commission meeting and provided an update.  
Mr. Marelli said that Sweet Hill Farm in Gales Ferry has approval to be developed into  
apartments.  
Mr. Marelli said that Liz Burdick has returned to the role of Town Planner. Chairman Garstka  
said he would schedule an appointment to meet with her. Mr. Marelli has a meeting scheduled  
with her on Thursday.

Chairman Garstka met with Joan Nichols of the CT Farm Bureau in regards to putting deed  
restrictions on farm properties, as an option for farmers in town. He requested a list of attorneys  
who are familiar with the process.  
Mr. Marelli asked about updating the list of current farms in Ledyard. Chairman Garstka said  
that he would request the list created approximately a decade ago from Justin Dube, MIS  
Director.  
Chairman Garstka suggested that the Commission continues dropping into other committee  
meetings and visiting other farms to keep ourselves visible in the community.  
The Commission agreed to keep the July meeting as scheduled and cancel in July if there is no  
pressing business.
