#14 Linda Rapson requested that the gazebo ne painted and the screens removed.  
She felt it would get more use.

*Newsletter was walked around and emailed.  
*Fire Marshall was here on October 14th and advised not to leave things on the stoves.  
*Mini Split service will be scheduled soon, waiting on quotes/dates  
*Power washing of privacy fences and recycle bins completed - reminder that no food items go  
in the recycle bins. There is a flyer for recycling in the hallway.  
*Working on leaves and cleaning gutters and adding guards in November. We will be  
scheduling attic hatch painting and other interior work during the winter months.  
*In person voting is tomorrow, a sample ballot is in the hall and call if you need a ride.  
*Halloween potluck was well attended. Thanksgiving potluck will be 11/26 @ 12:30.  
*Cookie swap/decorating will be scheduled for December.  
*Winner for first fall decorating contest was Peter. Thank you Carol for judging. We will be  
doing it again for the winter and judging will be done in December.  
*We had some great crafting sessions. November is sock snowman class on the 14th, and  
December will be a Diamond Painting Class  
*There were about a dozen dogs in the Dog Scouts parade and they will be back in December  
to sing holiday carols.  
*The Beautification Committee is doing wreaths a sign up has been in the community room to  
sign up  
*The American Heritage girls will be here on December 20th to sing holiday carols.  
*Recertification is coming up and info was in the newsletter  
*Groton Bible Chapel SERVE group worked on the trail from housing to senior center  
Reminders:  
Coffee/tea/goodies November 18th and 21st at 10:00 in community room  
For holiday baskets you need to be a guest of the Ledyard Food Pantry info was in the  
Newsletter  
Continue to check your mail as we are still having issues.  
Ledyard Senior Center has a lot to offer - rides, classes and food. Their newsletter is in the  
hallway.
