Chairman Garstka called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers,  
Town Hall Annex Building.  
Chairman Garstka welcomed all to the Hybrid Meeting.

Motion to APPROVE Regular Meeting minutes from July 19, 2022

Continued discussion of topics which farmers showed interest in.

Chairman Garstka said that the Farmers he spoke with were most interested in Accessory  
dwelling units (ADU).

Discuss ways and methods the Town could employ and encourage farming

A Purchase order is being created to pay a membership fee the CT Farm Bureau in the amount of  
$200.00. The Standard Farmer membership is full benefits including full voting privileges,  
one-on-one consulting advice, complimentary programs and publications.  
Chairman Garstka presented the idea of canceling the September meeting and having the  
Commission go to the CT Farm Bureau meeting instead at Holmberg Orchard (on top of the hill)  
at 6:30. This would not be an official Town meeting and no voting will take place. Attendance is  
optional but encouraged. Mr. Holmberg will need a head count. Chairman Garstka will have an  
email sent to all the Commission members with the cancellation notice.

Chairman Garstka moved the meeting to be adjourned, seconded by Mr. Marelli.  
The meeting was adjourned at 6:26 p.m.
