In our experience they do not tell you how much loan forgiveness (i.e. grant) you are getting until the entire loan packet is ready to go (i.e. signed).  However, you can ask Raul what range of forgiveness you can expect. My guess is minimum of 25% maybe closer to 50% but you need to ask him. I do know that they give more lately as not as many communities have taken them up on the funds. I can certainly call him if you want. Just let me know.
 
You do not need to go to hearing unless you want to.
