I believe the town (particularly Gales Ferry) has reached the point where it should engage professional, non-partisan and disinterested advice to seriously consider long- range planning. In addition, the Town should develop a careful, long-range Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD), both protecting open space and natural assets and creating APPROPRIATE opportunities for developers. A committee focused on zoning regulations, waivers and development applications can be retained to address the day-to-day needs of citizens. Thank you for your attention. Vivian F.
